Tove Alsterdal wins the award for Best Swedish Crime Novel of the Year for her latest book Uprooted (Rotvälta), the first book in the Ådalen Series. This is the second time Alsterdal wins the award as she also won it in 2014 for The Disappeared (Låt mig ta din hand).

The award for Best Swedish Crime Novel of the Year is Sweden’s official suspense literature award and it is presented every year by the Swedish Crime Writers’ Academy. This means that Uprooted will be Sweden’s contribution for the Glass Key Award, the prize for the Best Nordic Crime Novel of the Year.
